Sophia Kosmaoglou
Sophia Kosmaoglou is an artist, organiser, tutor and researcher working across art practice, critical pedagogy and collective organising. Her research-led practice spans installation, moving image, performance, sculpture, writing and publishing, and explores how art, education and institutions shape visibility, value and agency. She is the founder of Art&Critique, an alternative art education network, and co-founder of the Radical Pedagogy Research Group. Through peer-led courses, workshops, publications, co-operative research and self-organised projects, her work has eveolved from institutional critique to institution-building. She is currently developing a co-operative art school as a sustainable alternative to mainstream art education
