For four years I didn’t have a voice. Fighting Talk is a series of four aggressive illustrated screen-prints responding to a time when how I dressed, what I thought and who I spoke to was decided for me. These prints mark the moment I no longer lived in fear and felt safe enough to be angry.
Screen-print is an honest medium. Humanity runs through its imperfections, connecting with people through its rawness. In the era of homogenised thought, the ‘For You Page’ has algorithmised our opinions, and AI drains the last of our autonomy. Having a voice is f*cking important.
