Sweet Spice

Anoushica is the founder of Sweet Spice, a platform celebrating the incredible people of colour in the wine industry through wine tasting events and supper clubs.

Being of mixed heritage and often the only person of colour in many wine spaces, she quickly realised that there wasn't much being done to represent the amazing people of colour working in the industry or to engage with POC wine consumers. In 2019 Anoushica launched Sweet Spice to shift the narrative around wine and to create joyful, safe spaces for everyone to enjoy and learn about wine.

Anoushica is also part of the anti-racist movement (ARM), a grassroots movement with the goal of establishing an enduring anti-racist social movement, rooted in multiracial working class solidarity, that defends migrants and creates conditions for racial and economic justice for all.
