Sally Lees (London)
I am a jeweller based at Cockpit Arts in London. I design and make jewellery and guitar picks using anodised aluminium which I print with my drawings of flowers, birds, butterflies and animals which is hand dyed vibrant colours. Aluminium is lightweight and fun to work with and lends itself to commission work which can be decorated with patterns and illustrations of architecture. My illustrations have adorned plaques and jewellery commissioned by The Houses of Parliament, brooches for Transport for London and trophies for the Camden Council Business awards in addition to commissions for weddings and anniversaries fro individuals.
My Green Finches and butterflies cuff is featured in the new book 'Colours & Textures in Jewellery' by Nina Gilbey.
