Nico Froehlich

Nico Froehlich (b. 1990) is a British photographer born, raised and residing in south-east London. His work centres on human connection and belonging and celebrates the overlooked, with a particular focus on social realism and working-class life.

Nico’s personal work has received recognition and acclaim. He is the recipient of various awards such as the Creative Review Photography Annual, LensCulture Portrait Award, LensCultre Crtics’ Choice Award, Lucie Foundation Award and has had consecutive winning portraits in the British Journal of Photography’s Portrait of Britain. Nico’s work has been exhibited in Europe, the USA, and at places like Photo London and Heathrow Airport. He has been featured in numerous publications such as the British Journal of Photography, The Economist, The Financial Times, The Guardian, ITV, The New Statesman and The Royal Photographic Society Journal.

In addition to developing long-form personal projects, Nico continues to undertake campaigns and editorial assignments for clients, brands and publications worldwide.
