Recently Qualified Part 3 Architect

Allen Architects is looking for a recently qualified Part 3 architect to join our studio in South East London.

As a small practice, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in all stages of a project — from early ideas and design development through to technical delivery, site and completion.

You’ll work closely with our team, clients, consultants and contractors, and will be encouraged to take ownership of your work. We want this to be a place where you can learn, contribute and grow, taking on more responsibility as your experience develops.

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about architecture, curious about how buildings work and keen to build their experience across the profession.

Key skills:

• Postgraduate qualification in Architecture (RIBA Part 3) or equivalent overseas qualification
• Experience working within a UK-based architectural practice, ideally across a range of RIBA work stages
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, Adobe Creative Suite and NBS Chorus
• Ability to develop detailed technical proposals while maintaining a high level of design quality
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with clients, contractors, consultants and suppliers
• A good understanding of UK statutory regulations and the construction process
• Most importantly, a positive attitude, willingness to learn and enthusiasm for being part of a small team. We’re particularly interested in people who want to develop their career within a small practice, where you can get involved in a broad range of work and see the impact of your contribution.
