The successful candidate will lead primary-market sales across exhibitions, art fairs and private placements, managing the full sales cycle from outreach and negotiation to invoicing and shipping coordination. Alongside sales responsibilities, the role ensures smooth gallery operations, professional exhibition presentation and strong client experience. This position suits a commercially minded arts professional with deep knowledge of the contemporary art market and the ability to build long-term relationships with collectors, advisors and institutions.

Key skills:

Proven primary-market sales experience in a commercial gallery

Strong ability to cultivate and manage collector relationships

Deep understanding of inventory, consignments, pricing and international shipping logistics

Confident management of exhibitions, art fairs and private placements

High-level organisation and CRM/database management (Artlogic / Art Butler)

Professional, discreet client-facing communication skills

Strong knowledge of the contemporary art market
