Sculpture - Woodwork Practice Tutor
Goldsmiths’ School of Art is seeking a Sculpture – Woodwork Practice Tutor to provide world-class practical teaching within its Sculpture–Wood Art Practice Area. The role involves one-to-one and small-group teaching, supporting students to develop and realise their ideas across a wide range of physical and digital making processes. You will work within a large, fully equipped wood workshop, including CNC and laser cutting facilities, contributing to a dynamic, interdisciplinary learning environment. This is a hands-on teaching role requiring strong technical expertise, adaptability to new technologies, and a collaborative approach to supporting students’ artistic development within a globally recognised art school.

Advanced woodwork and sculpture-making expertise
Experience teaching or supporting art practice in higher education
Confident use of workshop equipment, including CNC and laser cutting
Ability to deliver one-to-one technical and creative guidance
Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills
Excellent interpersonal communication with diverse student groups
Adaptability to new technologies and self-directed upskilling
