Residency Artist: Wysing Arts Centre and St Peter's School

Wysing Arts Centre is seeking an imaginative, reflective artist to undertake a year-long school-based residency with Year 7 and 8 students (ages 11–13). Working over an academic year, the Residency Artist will deliver weekly creative workshops embedded within St Peter’s School’s curriculum, shaping sessions collaboratively with young people. The role prioritises experimentation, dialogue and mutual learning, encouraging students’ ideas while sharing artistic processes and techniques. This residency is ideal for an experienced artist interested in education, socially engaged practice and long-term collaboration, with strong support from Wysing’s Young People’s Programme team.
