Senior Designer

Saqi Books is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the visual direction of its independent publishing house. This hands-on role oversees book cover design, interior layouts, branding and marketing collateral from concept to production. Working closely with Editorial, Marketing and Sales, you’ll ensure a cohesive, high-quality visual identity across all titles and campaigns. You’ll commission and manage illustrators, typographers and photographers, maintain brand systems, and shape future creative strategy including rebrands and imprint visuals. Advanced book cover and interior design expertise

Strong Adobe CC skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Excellent typography, layout and visual storytelling ability

Project and workflow management across multiple deadlines

Clear communication and stakeholder management

Ability to commission, brief and oversee freelancers

Strong understanding of print and digital production processes
