Community Programme Producer

Company Drinks, a community-led organisation based in Barking and Dagenham, is seeking a Community Programme Producer to lead the delivery of nature-based and family-focused programmes. This part-time role (2 days per week) involves planning and producing projects such as Grow Club, Herb Club, and holiday programmes, while managing communications and serving as a safeguarding lead. The successful candidate will be highly organised, creative, and committed to equity and inclusion, with experience producing community-led programmes. This is a hands-on, public-facing position offering the opportunity to shape collaborative, intergenerational projects that connect nature, wellbeing, creativity, and social enterprise in East London.

Key skills:

Experience producing or coordinating community-based programmes

Strong organisational, project management, and budgeting skills

Excellent communication and people skills

Safeguarding knowledge and experience (children and vulnerable adults)

Creativity and initiative in programme design and delivery

Ability to manage communications (website, newsletter, social media)
