Lead Music Curator

Rich Mix is seeking a Lead Music Curator to co-create and deliver a vibrant, inclusive music programme that reflects East London’s diverse cultural landscape. Part of the In-House leadership development initiative, this role is designed for a visionary mid-career artist, curator, or cultural producer connected to Global Majority music scenes in the UK. Working closely with the Head of Programme and programming team, you will curate events, platform emerging and underrepresented talent, and build partnerships across grassroots and professional networks. This contract, part-time role offers the opportunity to shape Rich Mix’s artistic vision and progress toward senior creative leadership.

Key skills:

Proven experience in music curation, promotion, or cultural production

Strong networks within Global Majority and grassroots music communities

Visionary approach to inclusive, diverse music programming

Ability to balance creative ambition with financial sustainability
