Creative Workshop Assistant - Freelance

A freelance Creative Workshop Assistant is needed to support a stop-motion and claymation animation workshop for students aged 11–16 at an alternative provision school in East London. Running from Monday 20th to Friday 24th October 2025, 9:00am–2:30pm daily, the role involves assisting in planning and delivering creative sessions, supporting young people with animation projects, and helping maintain a positive, safe environment. Applicants must be confident, creative, and DBS-checked.

Great with children and comfortable in an educational setting

Passionate about animation, with an active interest in creative media

Confident, creative, organised, and a strong team player

A clear communicator with good intuition and a positive attitude

Holds an enhanced and up-to-date DBS certificate

Bonus Skills (Not Essential):

Experience supporting or delivering Arts Award (Bronze Level)

Hands-on experience with animation production

Familiarity with video editing tools and workflows
