Head of Programme and Engagement
The Albany seeks a bold, collaborative, and experienced leader to shape and deliver an inclusive, high-impact programme of live performance and creative engagement. Working closely with the Creative Director and co-CEO, you will lead programming that reflects the diverse communities we serve, fostering co-creation, participation, and positive change. This senior role combines artistic vision with strategic leadership, managing teams, budgets, and partnerships. A deep understanding of community engagement, multidisciplinary arts production, and venue programming is essential. Strategic Leadership – Proven ability to lead programming and engagement initiatives with clarity and vision.
Arts Management Expertise – Strong background in budgeting, team management, and multidisciplinary producing.
Community Engagement – Skilled in co-creation and working with diverse groups including youth, elders, and local residents.
Programming & Income Generation – Experience programming for venues with an entrepreneurial approach to maximising income.
Fundraising & Funding Knowledge – Track record of working with arts funding systems and delivering successful funding bids.
Safeguarding & Inclusivity – Demonstrated commitment to and practical experience in implementing safeguarding policies.
