Puppet Animation Fabricator

We are working on a project to create a series of short videos which combine puppet animation, live action and digital media. We are looking for Puppets / Sets / Props makers, artists of all levels required, to join our small but lovely team. The work is planed to shown on 2025 Beijing International Puppet Festival.

Key skills:

Puppet Making and Manipulation – Ability to design, construct, and bring to life puppets through both traditional and innovative techniques.

Set and Prop Design – Expertise in creating detailed and functional sets and props, ensuring they align with the creative vision of the project.

Artistic Craftsmanship – Strong skills in working with a variety of materials, including fabric, wood, clay, and other mediums, to produce high-quality designs.

Collaboration and Teamwork – Comfortable working in a small, collaborative environment, contributing to the shared creative process while respecting different perspectives.

Attention to Detail – Ability to ensure every element of the set, puppet, and prop is meticulously crafted and fits the aesthetic requirements of the project.

Knowledge of Digital Media Integration – Familiarity with how physical props and puppets can interact with digital media, including knowledge of basic animation techniques.

Time Management – Strong organisational skills, able to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure, particularly with tight production schedules.
