Evil Sheep Productions
Evil Sheep is a father and daughter production team, making films that encourage
audiences to question themselves about subjects they thought they already had
settled opinions about. Evil Sheep think revealing uncertainty and nuance is
important in an increasingly polarised world.
Celine, one of Evil Sheep’s founders is a recent Media Graduate from Goldsmiths, so she has been heavily influenced by the South-East art scene. For the past three years she has been attending many exhibitions, gigs and theatre performances in the area.
This exciting and inspirational atmosphere has lead to the creation of her own
Production Company Evil Sheep, which will now be contributing to the scene with
screenings at The New Cross House, The Five Bells, Studio Springs and Whirled
Cinema.
At an Evil Sheep Indie Film Event not only do the audience get to watch an original
indie film, but volunteer audience members provide their views about the movie via an interactive video booth before and after the showing of the film. Their opinions are screened at the end of the film as the events finale, making them an integral part of the show.
The first of these events will be at the Whirled Cinema in Brixton, screening
“Dissonance” the debut film of the production company. It is a documentary style
film about therapist Simon Wetherby, highly acclaimed for his wondrous healing
talents until one day, a patient dies and it is revealed he is a fraud. He holds no
qualifications, but does that undo all the good he has done for his other patients?
