Gregory Rose’s Danse Macabre serves as inspiration for new student works competing for the coveted Daryl Runswick Composition Competition Prize. Hear excerpts from Danse Macabre, conducted by the composer, alongside new pieces from the competition finalists, written for and in conjunction with Trinity Laban’s Composers Ensemble throughout this year. This event also marks Gregory Rose’s retirement from Trinity Laban, as a fitting tribute to a career in teaching and developing a new generation of composers.
