'Nepa vs. Nepo' by Daniel Adeyelu
11 Oct 25 — 30 Oct 25
Exhibition
Venue: Corner New Cross
Nepa vs. Nepo is a bold visual event exploring the roots of systemic inequality, exposing the forces that shape power, privilege, and survival.Through striking multidisciplinary artworks, Daniel Adeyelu examines the systemic racism woven into the hierarchy of wealth across many third-world countries, exposing the tension between privilege and survival, power and resilience.
Nepa vs. Nepo is a visual confrontation of how inequality continues to shape both the visible and unseen layers of society. The work challenges audiences to question who benefits, who is excluded, and how inherited structures uphold social and economic divides. By bringing these realities into sharp focus, the exhibition invites reflection on resilience, identity, and the ongoing fight against deeply embedded injustice.
