An exhibition of writing by BA Fine Art Extension students, 2024-2025This exhibition showcases writing produced by international students for their Portfolio of Art Writing as part of the BA Fine Art Extension Programme in the Art Department.
The writing takes the form of poems, short fiction pieces, performative texts, translations, essayistic writing, and hybrid forms, often in response to or inspired by artists, writers, and critics, ranging from painter Amy Sillman, filmmaker and artist Theresa Hak Kyung Cha, conceptual artist Sophie Calle, poet and novelist Renee Gladman, writer Anthony Capildeo, poet and essayist Cathy Park Hong, musician Patti Smith, sound artist JJJJJerome Ellis, translator Mahwash Shoaib, and many others.
