CoLab 2024: Week 1 Sharing

A double-bill featuring performances from Trinity Laban CoLab 2024: A Journey to the Heart.

This project is a culmination of Arabic music and dance. We will work with original
compositions, with an element of improvisation, and adaptation of traditional dances, such as Dabke, a popular dance of the Shami countries (Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan).

Northward Bound
Discover the music of Scandinavia, the Baltics, and Sápmi in this one week trek
through Northern Europe. We'll be workshopping music from various communities that are
underrepresented in the standard canon and working with them in their original languages.
