Libraries of the Future Zine Workshop

What makes a library the perfect place to talk about the future?

Join us for a zine-making workshop where we'll discuss examples of libraries in science fiction and fantasy. We’ll also consider how our local library can be a safe space for radical imagination and solidarity-building, where fantasies can become realities.

Dr Megen de Bruin-Molé (@megenjm, she/any) is Associate Professor of Digital Media Practice at the University of Southampton. Her book Gothic Remixed (Bloomsbury 2020) asks what happens when Literature and Heritage are overrun by monsters. Her current research is on stories and practices of salvage, especially in galleries, libraries, archives, and museums.
