Peckham Clothes Swap for Medical Aid for Palestinians

Bring your pre-loved clothes and swap for new treasures! Charity Swap Shop’s summer clothes swap returns for a sunny slow fashion evening at SET Social on Wednesday 19 August, from 6-8pm.

All event proceeds and donations go directly to supporting Medical Aid for Palestinians. MAP works for a future where every Palestinian has access to a comprehensive, effective, and locally-led system of healthcare, and the full realisation of their rights to health and dignity.

To achieve this, they work in collaboration with Palestinian communities and trusted local partners to answer a wide range of health and social needs, from providing vital medical aid in emergencies to supporting the development of better health services for the long term. They also uplift the voices of Palestinians, and campaign for an end to the barriers to health and dignity that come from living through occupation, displacement, discrimination, and conflict.

Swing by the garden, grab a drink, and rummage through the rails for a great cause.

How it works
Bring a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 items. We ask that everything you bring is clean, in great condition, and ready to be loved by someone new!
You’ll get 1 token per item you bring. If you bring a special piece worth over £40 (we use the good-faith honor system here!), you’ll receive 2 tokens.
Use your tokens to “buy” any of the donated items on the racks.
To keep things simple, all clothes are considered donated once they enter the swap shop. Any gems left over at the end of the night will be donated to nearby charity shops.
