Clay in vivo pushes the boundaries of what can be sculpted, expressed and exhibited using raw clay. Bringing together twelve artists working collaboratively with this transient material, the exhibition reveals clay's power for embodiment, immediacy and connection.

From excavations of minerals to architectural constructions, from dualities and flux to heritage, identity and sustainability, each artist raises their unique voice through the language of clay. Going beyond the conventional exhibition format, Clay in vivo invites visitors to transform the gallery into 'Collaborative Landshapes' a continually changing clay diary of different topographies reflecting our diversity and collective histories. An artist panel talk, an afternoon of storytelling and a finissage complete the programme.
