DX Artist Weekender - OPEN CALL

Deptford X launches its Weekender open call for visual artists based in Deptford and Lewisham. Now in its second edition, the 2026 Weekender is a programme of exhibitions and events showcasing the diversity of new art made in the borough. This year, we are looking for work responding to the theme of the social – artists can interpret this as interactions with their circle of friends, family and communities, or leaning towards social commentary or socially engaged practices. The selected works will be exhibited on 3 and 4 October in partner venues in Deptford.

Criteria: Open to all visual artists who live, work or have strong connections with Lewisham
