Charlotte Grierson
Born and brought up in Lewisham Charlotte is a designer and weaver who explores the relationship between materials and the structure of the weave.
Through sampling and experimentation she designs lambswool scarves that are woven in small scale production in the British Isles. Alongside this she weaves hangings and wall pieces that explore the geology of places around the coast.
Charlotte also teaches weaving workshops run at Cockpit for all levels of weavers to develop their knowledge and skills.
