Catarina is a Portuguese visual artist based in London, specialising in photography and filmmaking.
Catarina's solo travels, often to intriguing and unfamiliar places, inspire her interest in the way landscape influences people's emotions and behaviour. The relationship between memory and nostalgia is another theme in her work.
Apart from her personal work, she has experience as a freelance photographer in cultural events & live performances in museums, national institutions and schools. Clients include The Barbican Centre, Kettle's Yard, Wysing Arts Centre, Watersprite Film Festival.
