Abi Lawrence started working with ceramics as a teen and it has been a lifelong passion since then. Having studied Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art from 2013-2016 her passion for ceramics has grown from strength to strength. Having undertaken throwing courses at the Kiln Rooms in South London, and then a membership, she started to establish her own distinct style. Focused on shapes thrown on the wheel, each piece is handmade, in small batches. Abi takes inspiration from the world around her, finding inspiration in texture and colours, in both nature and the urban landscape that she lives within.
