Amanda Denise Graham
Amanda is a multidisciplinary artist and creative educator whose work centres on spatial storytelling, belonging, and collaborative world‑building. Working across murals, cardboard environments, large-scale participatory installations, and youth-led design processes, she creates spaces where children and communities can explore identity, imagination, and connection.
Her practice blends drawing, sculpture, and immersive environments with accessible, recycled materials — especially rough craft paper and cardboard — to make creativity feel open, playful, and communal. Amanda’s projects often unfold as co-designed experiences, inviting participants to shape the visual narrative, build characters, and transform everyday spaces into symbolic worlds.
She has delivered community-rooted creative sessions across Lewisham, including Brockley-themed world-building workshops, collaborative mural environments, and youth zine-making programmes. Her work is guided by a commitment to inclusive, child-centred creative environments and the belief that art can act as a portal into shared stories, neighbourhood identity, and collective imagination.
Amanda is currently developing a practice-based PhD proposal exploring portals, spatial storytelling, and immersive environments, alongside expanding her community art business focused on belonging and creative play.
