Peelstudio
Yahvi Duggal is a textile artist and founder of Peel Studio, where materials begin in the kitchen and find new life through weaving. She works with organic waste such as banana peels, eggshells, and avocado pits, collected from local cafés and restaurants across London. Through a slow and intuitive process, these materials are cleaned, dyed, and handwoven on traditional looms to create textiles that explore sustainability, community, and care.
Rooted in the zero-waste values she grew up with in India, Yahvi’s practice celebrates resourcefulness and the quiet beauty of transformation. Each piece reflects her belief that materials hold memory and that craft can turn the overlooked into something lasting and Meaningful.
Yahvi studied Textile Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, and completed her MA in Textiles at the Royal College of Art, London. Her work has been shown at London Design Festival, Chelsea Harbour, Surface Design Show and have been part of Dazed x Mason & Fifth and Art'otel residency
