Gallery Assistant

Japanese Gallery Kensington is a specialist in Japanese art and antiques, as well as Japanese animation art, such as cel-ga and vintage posters.
We are looking for an individual passionate about Japanese art and culture.

During your initial three-month probation period, we will provide training and review your performance every month. Upon successful completion of the training to a satisfactory level, you may be offered a permanent position.

Key skills:

Responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to:

Knowledge of Japanese art and culture
Proficient IT skills alongside strong attention to detail
Providing a high standard in-person and online customer service
Excellent organisational and communication skills as a team member
Providing general administrative support
Processing newly acquired stock, including online upload
Dispatching orders worldwide
Providing production and logistical support for engagement events and activities

Desirable skills:

Intermediate level of Japanese language
